Bridlington (UK Parliament constituency) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Bridlington (UK Parliament constituency)
Bridlington was a constituency in East Yorkshire, represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1950 until it was abolished for the 1997 general election. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP), elected by the first-past-the-post voting system. ==History== The constituency was created in 1950 from the former seat of Buckrose. The 1955 redistribution transferred Driffield to the Howden constituency, but it returned to the seat in 1983, when Filey was moved to the Ryedale seat. The constituency remained in this form until 1997, when it was abolished in the redistribution and most of its territory transferred to the East Yorkshire seat.
